Kamal Cogent Energy is providing professional services to SEMAC and JVM Convergem for facilitating the LEED certification for their new 7,00,000 sq. ft. IT park under the LEED CS program administered by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). The project consists of one 18 story high-rise tower and one 8 story mid-rise tower connected by a three story atrium. The project pre-feasibility shows a LEED Gold rating with a potential to meet LEED Platinum. The LEED Facilitation, Lighting modeling and Energy Simulation services being provided include:

WHOLE BUILDING 3D ENERGY SIMULATION INCLUDING:

• DOE 2 based whole building simulation
• Documenting of performance relative to ASHRAE reference
• Energy performance improvement document listing suggestions and recommendations on ways to enhance energy performance

LIGHTING MODELING:

• Day light modeling
• Interior views analysis

LEED FACILITATION INCLUDING:

• LEED credit specific guidance
• supporting and educating the design team across all aspects of LEED
• support developing green specifications
• providing guidance for collecting documentation required by IGBC
• reviewing contractor submittals
• completing LEED submittal templates and supporting material
• completing LEED review submittals
